When Do We Collect Information?

- Use the gym while CCTV is operating

CCTV is recorded 24 hours a day and actively monitored while the gym is in use.

Payment Information
We may collect credit or debit card details, bank account numbers, sort codes, or other banking information. We do not store bank or card details on our web servers.

Principal Membership Terms
This agreement begins once you confirm acceptance during the online sign-up process.
Direct Debit Fees and Charges
There is no joining fee. Monthly membership fees are collected by Direct Debit on the same date you signed up.
If a Direct Debit is returned unpaid or a payment fails, an administration fee of £20 may apply. Continued missed payments may result in membership suspension or termination.
Members must notify GymBox immediately of any changes to their personal or payment details.
Direct Debit Price Changes
Membership prices may increase from time to time. You will receive at least one full month’s notice, including details of the new price and the date it takes effect.
If you do not cancel before the stated date, the new price will apply automatically.
Membership Termination
One-Month Notice
Members must provide at least one month’s notice before cancellation.
Cancellation Process
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or another official communication channel. Memberships cannot be cancelled via the website or self-service platforms.
No Refunds
Failure to give proper notice will result in non-refundable charges for the following month.
Confirmation of Cancellation
A confirmation email will be sent once cancellation is processed. Members are responsible for retaining this confirmation.
Facility Rules and Regulations
Cleanliness
Members must clean equipment after use. Repeated failure may result in strikes.
Strike System
Accumulation of three strikes may result in membership cancellation.
Respect and Noise
Members must respect staff, facilities, and other members. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum, and headphones should be used for music.
Daily Membership (Day Pass)
Day passes activate on the selected date and expire at closing time. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Miscellaneous Terms
- Members must be 16 years or older
- Members must comply with all club rules
- Rules may change with advance notice
- Temporary closures may occur without refunds
- This agreement is governed by English law
Health Declaration
By accepting this agreement, you confirm you are in good health and capable of exercising safely. You agree to inform GymBox of any changes to your health.
Equipment and Facility Use
Equipment must be used as intended and returned after use. Appropriate athletic attire is required. Lockers should be used for personal belongings, and GymBox is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Mobile Phone and Media Policy
Mobile phones should be used in designated areas. Photography or recording of other members without consent is prohibited.
Hygiene and Courtesy
Members must maintain personal hygiene, use towels, clean equipment after use, and share equipment during peak hours.
Safety and Scheduling
Members must follow staff instructions, report hazards immediately, and respect class schedules.
Operating Hours and Closures
Operating hours and planned closures will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
Code of Conduct
Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of membership.
Intellectual Property
All logos, branding, and promotional materials are the exclusive property of GymBox. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
